Clara Hawke

Madison - Clara E. Hawke, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Alterra Sterling House in Sun Prairie. She was born on October 27, 1916, the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth (Volkmann) Gundlach. Clara worked at The Inn On The Park for many years. She had a great sense of humor and always brightened the days of her care givers and family. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hawke; granddaughter, Michelle and Nicole; special niece, Ann Murphy and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Norman and sister, Frieda. Memorial service will be held at Alterra Sterling House, 650 Broadway Dr., Sun Prairie on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at 3:15 p.m. Special thank you to all the staff at Alterra Sterling House for making Clara a member of their family and also to HospiceCare Inc.
