Loretta Fields

Fields, Loretta R. MADISON Loretta R. Fields, age 87 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at home, with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. She was born on Aug. 21, 1921, in Park Falls, the daughter of John and Theresa (Bauer) Oettinger. Loretta was married and had two children, Tom and Carol. She enjoyed working at Rayovac full-time and Spanish Village part-time. Loretta was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. In her last years, her favorite past-time was being present for her son Toms musical performances as Jesse Walker. Jesse is proud that Loretta bought him his first guitar. Loretta is survived by her son, Thomas (Kathryn) G. Fields III of Madison; a sister, Dolly Meysembourg of Madison; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Carol Ann Fields; her three brothers; and her four sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
