Pearl Kalscheur

Kalscheur, Pearl M. MONONA Pearl M. Kalscheur, age 88, of Monona, passed away on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. She was born on Nov. 12, 1919, in Amery, the daughter of Thomas and Thea (Satri) Hagen. Pearl married Joseph John Kalscheur. He preceded her in death in 1994. Pearl worked for Rayovac, making batteries for walkie-talkies during the war. She also worked at a ceramics art studio in Madison. Pearl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Gary Kalscheur of Madison, Rick Kalscheur of Monona, and Diane (Jeff) Ross of Green Bay; and two grandchildren, Heidi and Nichole Ross. Pearl was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis and Arthur Hagen; and sisters, Mary Derke, Lillian Gohre, Guro Stiemke and Thelma Hinman. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
