Michael Pharo

Pharo, Michael J. SUN PRAIRIE Michael J. Pharo, age 58, unexpectedly boated off into the sunset on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008. He was born on Sept. 26, 1949, in Madison, the son of Mick and Mona Pharo. Michael graduated from Middleton High School in 1967, received his degree in engineering from UW-Madison and subsequently earned his P.E. He married Lisa Kraus on July 24, 1982, in Madison. Michael worked in Madison, as a mechanical engineer, specializing in commercial HVAC, for many years. He was an avid boater and enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. Michael leaves behind his wife, Lisa; two sons, Ashley (Melissa Navarro) and Brett; sister, Kim (Tom) Schroedl and their children, Troy and Tracy; brother, Bill (Nancy) Pharo and their children, Clint and Andy; mother-in-law, Bernadine Van Roy; aunt, Marge Pharo; he was the brother-in-law of Christi and Jon Palubicki, Marc, Laura and Julie Kraus; the uncle of Kayla and Vince Pyne; and leaves other relatives and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Bob Kraus. Memorial service will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from noon until the time of service.
