Young, Mary Doretha MADISON Mary Doretha Young, age 50, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. She was born on Sept. 16, 1957, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Roosevelt and Phyllis Davis. Mary loved to cook, and spending time helping others. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Mary is survived by her children, Sherita Young, and Warren Young; her mother, Phyllis Davis; sisters, Suzanne Young, Jacqueline Daughtery, Yvette Davis of Rock Island, Ill., Brenda Blanton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dena Blanton of Mesa, Ariz.; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; father; two brothers; and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at EVANGEL LIFE CENTER, 4402 Femrite Drive, Madison, at noon on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
