Hinsman, Betty E. MIDDLETON Betty E. Hinsman, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at HospiceCare Inc. She was born on May 19, 1921, in Milwaukee. Betty was united in marriage to Keith A. Hinsman on Oct. 20, 1951, in Racine. He preceded her in death in July 1989. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she served as a medical technician in several area clinics. Betty had a variety of interests, including knitting and cooking, and was an avid Badgers and Packers fan. She was a member of the WM. "Sonny" Simon Post No. 8216 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Lukes Lutheran Church, where she was very active with numerous church activities. She worked along with her husband Keith, who founded the Good Neighbor Festival and she served as grand marshall in 1998. Betty volunteered countless hours working the election polls. Betty is survived by her children, Chris Hinsman, Jeff Hinsman and Lisa (Michael) Henning, all of Middleton; four grandchildren, Tonya (Eric Hernandez) Roysdon, Jennifer Roysdon, Sandra Hinsman and Eddie Hinsman; a great-granddaughter, Alyna Fuentes; a sister, Joanne (Jack) Mosby; and three nieces and a nephew. Memorial services will be held at ST. LUKES LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, with the Rev. Heather Lampert presiding. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Lukes Prayer Shawl Ministry or St. Lukes Senior Ministry.
