Obituary
McNally, Arthur "Mac" MIDDLETON Arthur "Mac" McNally, age 85, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Waunakee Manor. He was born on Feb. 19, 1923, in Springfield, Mass., the son of Arthur and Elizabeth (OConnor) McNally. Mac was united in marriage to Mildred R. Paulson on May 30, 1947, in Springfield. She preceded him in death on Aug. 29, 1999. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 4th Division of the U.S. Marines. Mac owned and operated M and M Associates, Merchandising and Marketing Consultants, until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Badgers fan. Mac was a member of Nakoma Country Club and St. Bernards Catholic Church where he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a founding charter member of the Middleton Sertoma Club, a charter member of the Mendota Club and had belonged the Wm. S. "Sonny" Simon V.F.W. Post No. 8216. Mac is survived by a son, Michael (Luann) McNally; two grandchildren, Monica and Brian; and a sister, Alice Mason. In addition to his wife, Mildred, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen; two sisters, Catherine Robertson and Elizabeth Seymore; and a brother, James McNally. Memorial services will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
