James Faust

Faust, James A. "Jim" MADISON James A. "Jim" Faust, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, after short illness. Jim was born in Madison, on Jan. 22, 1951, to John and Ruth (Swenson) Faust. He graduated from Madison LaFollette High School in 1969 and went on to graduate from UW-Oshkosh with a commercial art degree. Jim began his career with Findorff Construction in 1969. He was carrying on a family tradition of the Faust family, working at Findorff. Jim was a very talented artist, an avid Badgers and Brewers fan. He loved to fish, play softball and work in his yard. Jim looked forward to time spent with his friends. He is survived by a sister, Diana (Ron) Nelson of Edgerton; nephews, Orrin (Diane) Nelson and Darrin (Kris) Nelson; great-nieces and nephew, Tabitha and Tanner Nelson; Kaylee and Alyssa Nelson; uncles, Richard (Pat Richards) Faust, Ray (Maxine Denruiter) Faust and David (Jean) Faust; an aunt, Bernadine Swenson; and many wonderful friends and family. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, William. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
