Obituary
Plank, Lindsey Theresa STOUGHTON / MADISON Lindsey Theresa Plank, age 23, died on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, as a result of a car crash. She was born on Nov. 24, 1984, the daughter of Mike and Terri Plank. After she graduated from Stoughton High School in June 2003 she became our "little gypsy". She moved around Stevens Point while she went to school and worked. Lindsey then moved around Madison while she was finishing her chemistry degree at UW-Madison. She worked as hard as she could at each job she held and made friends along the way. Lindsey was a joy to her family her whole life. She was never afraid to be herself. Her intelligence, humor, bravery and self sufficiency are an inspiration to us all. Lindsey is survived and missed by her loving parents, Mike and Terri; her brother, Bob Plank; grandparents, Dale (Elaine) Maynard and Barbara Maynard; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Peggy Plank. The best way we can honor her is to give ourselves permission to be silly, just like she was. A Memorial Gathering to honor Lindseys life will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy. 51 North at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.

Mike, Terri, and Bob:
I am deeply saddened, and extend my sympathy to all of you. Lindsey brought so much joy to your family. She has all of you in her heart forever, and your hearts will forever keep her memory alive. Because of the love and inspiration you gave her, Lindsey became a remarkable young adult. God bless all of you and watch over you.

You do not really know us but Lindsey touched our lives when she joined the lacrosse team. Our son, Tim played with her.
He remembers her spirit when playing with boys and she was always right in there no matter what. We send out sympathy. So sorry we could not be there. Dick, Sherry & Tim Shea
