Abby graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelors of science degree in occupational therapy, Herzing Institute with an associate degree in medical transcription, and later from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee with a masters degree in hospital administration. Abby had a love of all animals great and small and was always surrounded by her dogs, cats and horses at her rural Wisconsin farm. Abby was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Dennis. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memoriam should be made to the family and will be forwarded to Columbus Countryside Veterinary Clinic to assist indigent animal care. Special thanks to Joann Feeney, Brad Weber, Brian and Sonja Stauffacher, Don and Karen Zantow, Mike and Kari Hughes, Steve and Teri Dolphin, the Corey Johnson family, and her many, many friends who have been instrumental in the familys time of need. The family would like to extend special thanks to the medical staff of St. Marys Hospital, Dean Oncology and Hematology, as well as the staff of Hillside Hospice, and all the family and friends for their continued support of the family
