Hazel Lueth

Lueth, Hazel Wilma MADISON Hazel Wilma Lueth, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Ingleside Nursing Home, Mount Horeb. She was born on Dec. 27, 1911, the daughter of William and Salina Stombaugh. Hazel was united in marriage to Clarence Edward Lueth on March 4, 1939. She raised her family and enjoyed gardening, going to their cottage, and doing crossword puzzles. Hazel was a long time member of Bashford United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two children, Judy Meredith of Poynette and Terry (Cheryl) of Columbus; four grandchildren, Sandy Kienast of Poynette, Cary (Robyn Collins) Meredith of Caledonia, Minn., David Lueth of Fall River and Cathy (Ross) Firary of Columbus; great-grandchildren, April, Amanda, Brandon, Casey, Michael and Zachary; and a sister, Agnes Mathison of Mount Horeb. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Foster, Everett and Claude; and three sisters, Shirley, Alice and Ruth. A Memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, with the Rev. Edmund White presiding. Inurnment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Baraboo, at a later date. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Ingleside Nursing Home or Bashford United Methodist Church. Thank you to the nurses at 11 tower at Meriter Hospital and to the staff at Ingleside Nursing Home for the care they gave to Hazel.
