Bernal, Juan José MADISON Juan José Bernal, age 22, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008. He was born on May 24, 1986, in Madison, the son of Bernardo and JoAnn (Dunbrook) Bernal. Juan played hockey with the Madison Patriots when he was younger. He graduated from Madison LaFollette High School in 2005 and he played soccer and had a black belt in karate. Juan loved to travel and was able to visit Europe, Mexico, Venezuela, and was on many other exciting adventures. He was proud of his Mexican heritage. Juan is survived by his son, Kian M. Bernal and Kians mother, Kaleena Waite; his mother, JoAnn Bernal of Madison; his father, Bernardo (Martha) Bernal of San Antonio, Texas; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Janet Dunbrook of Madison; paternal grandmother, MarÃ?¬a de la Luz Ramos de Bernal of Venezuela; three aunts, Sheryl (Ronald) Miller of Florida, Sandra (Dale Nordby) Weger of Deerfield, Guadalupe Bernal of Italy; and uncle, Juan Carlos Bernal of Mexico; and six cousins, Jacob Miller, Trevor and Brent Weger, Jonathan, José, and Regina Bernal. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Juan José Bernal. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. Inurnment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anchor Bank for an educational fund for his son Kian. We love you and will miss you, Your family. SIT TIBI TERRA LEVIS. REQUIESCAT IN PACE.
