Beatrice Campbell

Campbell, Beatrice I. MADISON Beatrice I. Campbell, age 86 of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on Aug. 15, 1921, in Waterloo, the daughter of Edward and Cora (Mitchell) Lemke. She married Marvin Campbell on May 27, 1944 in Waterloo. Beatrice was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed quilting with the woman from the church. She was a part of the card club in Oregon. Beatrice is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Joanne (Gary) Geil of Madison, Terry (Ida) Campbell of Warrens and Jean (James) Sherman of Waukesha; eight grandsons; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris(Armin)Arms of Beaver Dam and Lois Pann of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Kenneth and Lloyd Lemke. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 625 E. Netherwood in Oregon with the Rev. Paul Markquart presiding. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon, on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church.
