Esther Kelly

Kelly, Esther C. MADISON/ MONONA Esther C. Kelly, age 95, died on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008. She was born on Feb. 1, 1913, in Cottage Grove, the daughter of Christian and Emma (Johnson) Peterson. Esther graduated from Madison East High School with the class of 1931. Esther was a hard worker and held a variety of jobs over the years. She was especially proud of the work she did at Truax Field during the war. Esther was a life long member of St. Pauls Liberty Lutheran Church, where she will rest in the church cemetery. She is survived by her son, John (Mary Ann) Kelly. Esther was preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with Esthers wishes, a private graveside service will be held at St. Pauls Liberty Lutheran Church Cemetery, Deerfield. The family wishes to express a deepest thank you to Julie Bailey, her close friend and advocate, who was always there for her.
