Catherine Mossakowski

Mossakowski, Catherine E. OREGON/ MILWAUKEE Catherine E. Mossakowski, age 89, of Oregon, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on Oct. 3, 1918, in Milwaukee, the daughter of John and Augusta (Worzala) Meka. Catherine married Anthony Mossakowski in 1945, in Milwaukee. She is survived by her husband, Anthony of Oregon; children, Richard (Sharon) Mossakowski of Shawano and Jacqueline (William) LaDell of Oregon; grandchildren, Lynette (John) Pritchard, Jennifer LaDell, Tony (Tina) Mossakowski, Peter (Laura) Mossakowski, and Aimee (Michael) LaDell-Sharp; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Patricia Schwingshakl of Milwaukee; brother, Richard (Joyce) Meka of Hartland; and brother-in-law, Arthur Marrs of Milwaukee. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Harriet Gremban, Maryann Marrs, and Dorothy Fredericks; and brothers, Eugene, Chester and John Meka. Funeral services will be held at HOSPICECARE CHAPEL, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 1 p.m., with Sister Georgeann Roudebush presiding. Inurnment will be at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Oregon, on Monday. Visitation will be at the HospiceCare Chapel on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
