Obituary
Fenlon, Frances STOUGHTON Frances Fenlon, formerly Frances Baruzzini, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008, peacefully in her sleep. She was born on May 25, 1915, to Jerome and Laura Baruzzini. Frances was one of seven children raised in a loving, close Italian family in Verdon, Ill. She became a registered nurse, working mainly in hospitals, but retired in 1980 after working several years at Skaalen Home. Frances was not only a devout Catholic, but an avid Packers fan, who told numerous stories of the Vince Lombardi days. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, cooking, great opera, and the beloved wrens in her back yard. Frances is survived by her daughters, Michele Yazici and Roberta Wenzler; her grandchildren, Aliye and Nevin Yazici, Dominic Baruzzini, and Christopher and James Wenzler; and a sister, Ester Wond. Services will be held privately for immediate family only. Nothing needs to be done except to enjoy the memories of this magnificent woman, who loved her family above all else. Think kind thoughts, root on the Packers, and enjoy the songs of her beloved wrens. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to those who took loving care of Frances during her lengthy battle with Alzheimers. To Lona, Stephanie, Tammy and Mary, we are eternally grateful. To Hospice, who made her final days a beautiful and peaceful experience, we thank you immensely.
