Norene Custer

Custer, Norene E. OREGON Norene E. Custer, age 92, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Oregon Manor. She was born on Feb. 26, 1915, in Green County, Wisconsin, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Voegli) Schulz. Norene was a member of the Eastern Star in Oregon. She enjoyed nature, bird watching, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Norene is survived by her grandson, Tarek Jark of Columbus, Ohio; a niece, Deb (Randy) Padfield; and nephews, Bruce Chandler and Larry Larson. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Raymond, in 2002; her beloved daughter, Dawn Jark; and two sisters, Avis and Zona. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery.
