Helen Siria

Siria, Helen M. MADISON Helen M. Siria, age 90, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008, at Sunny Hill Health Care Center. She was born on Oct. 15, 1917, in New Straitsville, Ohio, the daughter of Blaine and Angela Forester. Helen was united in marriage to Kernie W. Siria on June 17, 1937, in Chicago, Ill. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Helen was artistic and enjoyed a variety of crafts, including flower arranging and butterflies. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Sadausky of Chicago, Ill. and Beverly (Ilene Morse) Siria of Madison; a grandson, Mark (Sherry) Sadausky; a great-grandson, Kernie Sadausky; adopted son, Pete Skourles; and two sisters-in-law, Marge Taterka and Vi Siria. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Kernie Sr.; a son, Kernie Jr.; a brother, Charles Forester; and a sister, Bernadine Carroll. A Memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2008. Inurnment will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
