Jensen, Aaron Michael WAUNAKEE/ DEFOREST Aaron Michael Jensen, age 31, of Waunakee, died peacefully at home on Monday, June 23, 2008, as a result of brain cancer. Aaron was born Feb. 26, 1977, in Honolulu, Hawaii, living on Naval Air Stations (NAS) Barbers Point, Hawaii, and Fallon, Nev., bases; Mount Vernon, Ore.; San Clemente, Calif.; and the Waunakee/ DeForest/ Madison areas. He was active in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps and attended a USNSCC Boot Camp at NAS Great Lakes. He loved his children, they are what really mattered. Aaron was genuine; a great man, and wonderful son, loving father and friend. We admire your bravery and how sweet you remained in spite of battling this cancer. Schulenburg (Bill Mc Roberts and Billy) of Janesville; three children, Tyler Vincent Jensen of Waunakee/ DeForest, and Keegan Stewart and Riannon Rose Jensen of Waunakee/ Windsor; sister, Katie (Justen) Davis of Gulfport, Miss.; grandmother, Berneice Gerber Schulenburg of Madison; son Tylers mother and good friend, Jessica (Dan Kruger) Jensen of DeForest; Keegan and Riannons mother, Melanie of Windsor; maternal aunts and uncles, Patty (and his especially close uncle Brian) of Madison, Candy (Bob) Pharo of Evansville, and Sherry (Craig) Barnsley of Madison; uncles, Alan Schulenburg and Michael Schulenburg; paternal aunts, Cheri (Jerry) Robinson and Margie (d. Karl) Parry both of Prineville Ore., and Lorna (Monty) Montano of Salt Lake City, Utah; and his large and loving circle of cousins, wonderful friends and neighbors...whose continued thoughts and prayers carried him to meet those who preceded him: his father, Stewart W. Jensen of John Day, Ore.; and grandparents, Vincent Schulenburg of Cross Plains/ Madison, Melba Merkley and William Jensen of John Day, Ore. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Monona, at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, June 27, 2008, with Chaplain John McCarthy presiding. A memorial visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
