Obituary
Main, Betty J. MADISON Betty J. Main, age 80, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at home. She was born on April 14, 1928, in Madison, the daughter of James and Bertha (Morschauser) Brantmeyer. In her youth, Betty spent much of her time with family in New Glarus. She married Edwin "Red" Main in 1957, in Madison. Together, they owned and operated Main Appliance (Brothers Main) for more than 30 years. After her daughter, Karen became ill, Betty was her loving caretaker for 16 years. She enjoyed spending time at Camp Delton with her children and grandchildren. Betty is survived by her children, Steven (Chris) Kuenzi of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary (Karen) Kuenzi of McFarland, and Greg (Robin) Main of Stoughton; step-children, Ronald (Signe) Main of McFarland, Susan (Bob ) Jordan of Arkansas, and Edward Main of Madison; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, JoAnne Handley; and two brothers, Bill Morschauser and James (Holly) Lyaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Red;" daughter, Karen Kuenzi; and brother, Robert Brantmeyer. Funeral services will be held at LUTHER MEMORIAL CHURCH, 1021 University Ave., Madison, at noon on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, with Pastor Craig Jan-McMahon presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, or join the family for lunch and fellowship at the East Side Club on Lake Monona, 3735 Monona Drive, Monona, at 2 p.m. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
