Wood, Diana COTTAGE GROVE Diana G. Wood, age 60, of Verona, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at University Hospital. She was born in Madison, the daughter of Clifford and Emaline (Garber) Wood. Diana was active in work programs in Madison and helped her parents on the farm in Cottage Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at BRYN MAR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 229 N. Main St., Cottage Grove, on Friday, June 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Liberty Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Rest in peace, dearest Diana. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of your summertime visits to Pana. Especially when you came to our house to shoot a few games of pool with your Uncle Walter, he loved you so. And the times you were the official Lifeguard in our little backyard swimming pool... when you blew your whistle - we knew you meant business, lol. Aunt Jennie loved you so very very much, and now you're together in heaven. We miss both of you. Love, Kelly
