Obituary
Taylor, Leona E. MONONA Leona E. Taylor, age 83, died on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. She was born on March 16, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Vincent and Mary Kazmierczak. Leona grew up in Chicago and Little Suamico. She was a 1943 graduate of Pulaski High School in Pulaski. During World War II, she worked at Mars Candy Co. In 1947, Leona was united in marriage to Richard Taylor. She was a lifelong Packers and Cubs fan. Leona was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking all sorts of pies, cakes and cookies. She also crocheted many afghans. Leona is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard; daughter, Margaret (George) Endicott of Monona; grandson, William Endicott of Monona; brother, Vincent Kazmierczak Jr. of Little Suamico; and nieces and nephews, Connie, Mike, Joyce, Ray Jr., Mary Beth, Dan and Pat. Leona was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Kazmierczak; and sister, Lucy Kazmierczak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Visitation will be at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or HospiceCare Inc. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at HospiceCare
