LaVerne Ziegler

Ziegler, LaVerne MADISON LaVerne M. Ziegler, age 93, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. She was born on Feb.1, 1915, in Madison, the daughter of Leo and Cornethie Rogge. She married Earl K. Ziegler in Madison. LaVerne graduated from Madison West High School with honors. She was an avid reader, nature lover, bird watcher, and collected dolls. LaVerne loved going to her cabin at White Creek.She is survived by her son, Roy K.; daughter-in-law, Kathleen J. of Monona; sister-in-law, Peggy Rogge and her children. LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and two brothers, Dick and Willie. A remembrance gathering will be held at LaVernes favorite restaurant, WONGS GARDEN, 2044 Atwood Ave., Madison, near Schenks Corners, on Saturday, May 24, 2008, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Olbrich Gardens.
