Clara Magli

Magli, Clara A. MADISON Clara A. Magli, age 73, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Spring Green, the daughter of Jerome and Marie Limmex. Clara was united in marriage to Daniel A. Magli, on April 26, 1958, in Spring Green. In addition to spending time with her family, Clara enjoyed traveling and was seldom found without a camera in hand. Clara also enjoyed her involvement with the UW Extensions Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization (PLATO), where she served as a volunteer for many years with Dane Countys Meals-on-Wheels and with Blackhawk Council of Girl Scouts. She is survived by her four children, Daniel (Meri) of Omaha, Neb., Brian (Lisa) of Columbus, Kathryn (David Rudd) Magli of Omaha, Neb., and Bruce (Fe Johnson) of Madison; three grandchildren, Shanna, Clint and Malissa; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Marie Luther and Judy (Bill) Hutter; many nieces and nephews; and special cousins. Clara was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Jerome Limmex; brother-in-law, Leo Luther; and a nephew, Mark Hutter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday at St. Johns Cemetery, Spring Green. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Alzheimers Association. The family wishes to express thanks to all those involved in Moms care at UW-Hospital, HospiceCare and Harbor House, as well as all her friends and neighbors.
