Donald was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Katy (Todd Hoel) Stockstad of Oxford and Susan (Jon) Hanson of Stoughton; two grandsons, Conor and Carson Hanson; several cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 310 E. Washington Ave., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008, with the Rev. Richard Halom presiding. Burial will be at Lutheran South Cemetery. The family wishes to express its sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at University Hospital for their care and kindness. "Grandpa, we are going to miss fishing with you, our trips to the frog pond, driving us to look at big tractors, and always being around to fix our broken toys."
