Havens, Hazel Cleo "Hummy" WAUNAKEE / SUN PRAIRIE Hazel Cleo "Hummy" Havens, age 86, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4, 2008, and is now reunited with her loving husband, Roy. She was born on Jan. 14, 1922, in Scott Township, Crawford County, the daughter of Henry and Vina (Mullikin) OKane. Hazel was united in marriage to Roy Havens on June 13, 1944, in Belleville. She retired after 20 years of service from the State of Wisconsin. Hazel was an active member of Lakeview Moravian Community Church. She made the best chocolate chip cookies. Hazel is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Alberta) of McFarland, Jerry (special friend, Julie), Terry (Janice) and Nancy (Dan) Shulka; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford OKane; and a sister, Pearl Kast. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy in 2000; and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at noon, on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, with the Rev. John McCarthy presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Moravian Church or to Alzheimers Association. Hazel was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone. She will be missed.
