Wagner, Kurt G. STOUGHTON/ PARAMUS, N.J. Kurt G. Wagner, age 87, of Stoughton, formerly of Paramus, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Stoughton Hospital. He was born on May 8, 1920, Langenwetzendorf, Germany, the son of Robert and Anna (Berthold) Wagner. Kurt served in the United States Army during World War II as a voice interceptor and signal intelligence specialist. He married Mary Weinreich on Nov. 11, 1945, in Passaic, N.J. Kurt was employed by Forstmann Woolen Co. in Passaic for 15 years. He and Mary then owned and operated Hill-N-Dale Power Equipment in Woodcliff Lake, N.J. In 1983, Mary and Kurt retired to Lakehurst, N.J. and then in 2005, to Stoughton to be closer to their family. Kurt is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Brian and wife, Diane Wagner of Stoughton; three grandchildren, Robert, Daniel and Kurt, all of Stoughton; brothers, Ernst Wagner, and Albert and wife, Virginia Wagner; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Hedy and Arthur DaGiau; and niece, Nadine and husband, Nick Vitagliano. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, Highway 51 N. at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008, with military rites conducted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, 400 N. Morris St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding.
