Dorothy Hines

Hines, Dorothy Mary OREGON Dorothy Mary Hines, age 79, of Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Main Street Quarters in Oregon, surrounded by her family. She was born on Oct. 13, 1928, in Manchester, England. Dorothy married Martin Hines on June 11, 1949, in Manchester. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1965. Dorothy worked at the Brown County Court House and the Ashwaubenon Press. She was a volunteer with the senior citizens in Ashwaubenon. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, gardening, and playing cards. Dorothy and Martin spent 12 years of their retirement in Leesburg, Fla., returning to Wisconsin, to be closer to family. She is survived by her children, Martin John (Phyllis) Hines of Oregon City, Ore., Debra (Gary) Blazek of Oregon, and Mark (Anna) Hines of Neenah; grandchildren, Mike (Mona) and Derek Hines, Mitch and Stephanie Blazek, and Jordan and Leah Hines; and a brother, Robert (Doreen) Nelson. Dorothy joined the love of her life, her husband, Martin; and daughter, Anne Marie. A bedside memorial was held with Dorothy and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, who will establish a memorial fund.
