Betty Sauer

Sauer, Betty Lou MADISON Betty Lou Sauer, age 80, died on Monday, April 28, 2008. She was born on Oct. 23, 1927, in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Esther Bender. Betty retired from Rite-Way Leasing Co. after 20 years of service. She was a member of Women of the Moose No. 291. Betty was an avid bowler in Madison bowling leagues. She also enjoyed her cottage on Lake Wisconsin, where fishing and relaxing with family and friends made for great times. Survivors include stepsons, Roy Sauer, Steven (Barbara) Sauer and Robert Sauer; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; and her parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
