Dugan, Dorothy J. MCFARLAND/ MONONA Dorothy J. Dugan, age 83, of McFarland, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at the HospiceCare Center. She was born on Nov. 17, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Carroll and Edith (Fullert) Taylor. Dorothy married Eugene Paul Dugan on July 5, 1943, in Santa Barbara, Calif. He preceded her in death in 2004. Dorothy was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, McFarland, and a former member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Monona. She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by six children, Patrick (Char) Dugan, Jane (Ken) Berg, Becky Bazan, Dan (Carol) Dugan, Donna (Kendal) Uphoff and Todd (Sarah) Dugan; grandchildren, Dawn and Chandra Dugan, Dan (Tamara) Knickmeier, Danette Knickmeier, Beth (Mike) Hanzel, Lori (David) Harried, Andrew (Maggie) Berg, Angela and Bryan Bazan, Amy (Peter) Wellman, Jimmy (Rachel) Anderson, Jason (Amanda) Anderson, and Kale, Kelsie, Keaton, Kenna, Kenzie, and Khamon Uphoff; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Anthony, Brianna, Ethan, Sydney, Brittany, Ellie, Harper, Daisy, Madeline, Isabella, Kylie, Lauren, James, Sam, Jaylyn, Jonathan, and Sage; former son-in-law, Max Bazan; former daughter-in-law, Becky Delahoussaye; and sisters-in-law, Irene Taylor, Evelyn Taylor, and Virginia Dugan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Aud, B. Arden and William. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5306 Main St., McFarland, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, with Father D. Stephen Smith presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at McFarland Upper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Shore Adult Day Services or HospiceCare Inc.
