Moe, Patricia A. COTTAGE GROVE Patricia Ann Moe, age 57, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, April 18, 2008, at the HospiceCare Center. She was born on Sept. 3, 1950, the daughter of Albert and Erma (Kinnamon) Gerke. Patty was a graduate from Madison East High School. After high school she worked for Meriter Methodist Hospital, Jackson Clinic and most recently at the UW Hospital and Clinics. Patty was united in marriage to Thomas Moe on Dec. 18, 1970, at Bethel Lutheran Church. She was a very outgoing and friendly person. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, cooking, golfing and bowling. Patty counted her riches in grandchildren and treasured each one. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tom; daughters, Jenny (Paul) Gustafson of Stoughton and Jessica (Jim) McLean of Waukesha; three grandchildren, Evan and Annika Gustafson and Morgan McLean; a sister, Linda (Tom) Koch of Madison; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. In thanks for Pattys life and all those whom she touched, a celebration to remember her life will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3105 E. Washington St., Stoughton on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Halom presiding. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51 (corner of Jackson St. and Hwy 51), Stoughton. Also a visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Fitchburg, WI 53711. Special thanks to Pattys friends and family for all their prayers and support.
