Lucille Henes

Henes, Lucille A. MADISON Lucille A. Henes, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. She was born on June 30, 1912, in Roxbury, the daughter of John and Theresa (Reider) Kurt. Lucille married Arthur W. Henes in 1940, at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Madison. She retired from University Hospital at the age of 65. Lucille was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, Madison. She enjoyed playing cards, gambling, dancing, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her four children, Judith Stenner of Madison, Barbara Sosinsky of Westfield, William A. (Jan) Henes of Madison, and Nancy (Tony) Groleau of Jackson, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; 14 and a half great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bernadette Zimmer of Waunakee and Cassie (George) Niebur of Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and five sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PATRICKS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 404 E. Main St., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2008, with Monsignor Kevin Holmes presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 8 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53711 or St. Patricks Catholic Church.
