Donna Alme

Alme, Donna Rae BROOKLYN / OREGON Donna Rae Alme, age 72, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital. She was born on Nov. 10, 1935, in Stoughton, the daughter of Oren and Ruth (Turner) Otteson. Donna graduated from Stoughton High School in 1953. She worked at the family owned Waterfall Restaurant. After their parents retirement in the late 60s, Donna and her sister, continued to operate the restaurant for 25 years. She was united in marriage to Donald Alme on Oct. 1, 1982, in Oregon. Donna is survived by her husband of 25 years, Donald of Brooklyn; three daughters, Dawn (Harold) Smith of Edgerton, Deanna (Richard) Gullickson of Stoughton and Darsy (John) Schulz of Oregon; five step-children; four grandchildren, Ashley and Amber Gullickson and Samantha and Joshua Schulz; seven step-grandchildren; a great-grandson, Kyler Gullickson; and a sister, Darlene (Davis) Toothman of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Debra Elmer. Funeral services will be held at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 County Road B, Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, with the Rev. Scott Geister-Jones presiding. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Monday, March 10, 2008.
