Steven Klasna

Klasna, Steven N. MIDDLETON Steven N. Klasna, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. He was born on Dec. 17, 1944, in Belleville, Ill., the son of Steve and Roberta Ruth (Buzard) Klasna. He grew up in Idaho Springs, Colo. and graduated from Colorado State University. Steve was united in marriage to Heidi Staffer on June 17, 1967, in Madison. He taught industrial arts and technology for 36 years in the Middleton Cross Plains School District and was a longtime member of the Middleton Sertoma Club. Besides being a very good carpenter, Steve enjoyed motorcycling, boating, golfing, and scuba diving, but treasured most the time spent with his family and friends. Steve is survived by his wife, Heidi of Middleton; two daughters, Darcy (Derek) Lee of Madison and Mari Klasna ( Bryan Zoran) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two grandsons, Gabriel and Samuel Lee; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Steves life, led by Marta Baker-Jambretz, will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2008.
