Constance Williams

Williams, Constance June "Connie" MADISON Constance June "Connie" Williams, age 83, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1924, in Madison, to Ever Tjugum and Hazel (Thompson) Fischer. Connie graduated from Madison East High School. She was united in marriage to Joseph S. Williams on July 11, 1942, in Madison. Connie was an office manager for Danco Prairie F.S. Corporation for 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and TLCW, leader in altar guild and involved with the quilting group. Connie was also an active member of the Elks Club Auxiliary Post No. 410, organizing the Thursday card club and assisted with the blood drive. Connie is survived by her three children, Pamela (Tom) Aldrich of Madison, Michael (Gena) Williams of Madison and Terry (Lynne) Williams of Sun Prairie; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Penny) Tjugum of Madison; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; her parents; and a grandson-in-law. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to the charity of donors choice.
