Darlyne Perez

Perez, Darlyne I. MADISON Darlyne I. Perez, age 75, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on Aug. 3, 1932, in Hollandale, the daughter of Wilber and Ruth (Nelson) Ray. Darlyne was united in marriage to Michael L. Perez on June 14, 1954, in Madison. She was an active member and Sunday school teacher at Northside Christian Assembly. Darlyne assisted as a tutor in many Madison schools. Her enjoyment in life was helping and caring for all children. Darlyne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael; three children, Lynn R. Allen, Michelle L. (Kevin) Baumann and Tony (Crystal) Perez; 10 grandchildren, Daniel, Larry and Danielle Allen, Janell Ipsen, Carrie, Jason and Brandon Robinson, Kevin Baumann Jr., Angelina and Caden Perez; and a sister, Jeanne Robinson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at noon, on Saturday, March 15, 2008, with the Revs. Joe Oby and Ellie C. Ibulka presiding. Burial will be in Southeast Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. She will be missed by all and will be in our hearts forever.
