Erma Erb

Erb, Erma M. MADISON - Erma M. Erb, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital. She was born on Nov. 5, 1914, in Token Creek, to Walter and Marion (Amacher) Seeliger. Erma married Frederick Erb on Aug. 13, 1934. She worked as a cook at Nichols School. Erma was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed square dancing, crocheting, and volunteering at Monona Senior Center, but most of all, Erma loved spending time with her family and friends. Erma is survived by her children, Roger (Sharon) Erb of Cambridge, Bob Erb of Westport, and Betty Olrick of Verona; son-in-law, Dave Peterson; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wally Seeliger of Madison; and longtime friend, Vivian Luther. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fritz, in 1979; daughter, Donna Peterson, in 2007; son, Rick Erb; sister, Dorothy Jean Seeliger; brother, Bill Seeliger; and daughter-in-law, Judy Erb. Funeral services will be held at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2165 Linden Ave., Madison, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, with the Rev. Pat Siegler presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
