He is survived by their daughters, Janell Moody of Middleton, and Leanne Stucki of Madison; two grandchildren, Travis (fianc?e, Kristen) Moody and Ashley Moody (friend, Geoff). He later married the former Delores Meixner of DeForest. She preceded him in death in March of 2006. He is survived by stepdaughters, Sharon Sisler of Madison, Connie Schulenburg of Brooklyn, and Debra (Dan) Hellenbrand of Cross Plains; and step-grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Brent, Bryce, Bridget, Brandon, Joy, Tracy and their spouses and children. Al is also survived by his brothers, Rudy (friend, Helen Ritter) and Walt (Margaret) and his sisters, Gertrude (Ken) Haak, Rose Haak, Mary (Ed) Duckwitz, and Jean Dodge, sisters-in-law, Betty Stucki, Ednabelle (Chuck) Bartholf, Carmen (Dick) Kindschi, Wilma Meixner, brother-in-law, Bruce (Julie) Meixner; and many nieces and nephews. Al was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Werner; sisters-in-law Bonnie Stucki and Diane Roessler; and brothers-in-law, Dick Dodge, Elsworth Haak, John Meixner and Kenneth Roessler. Special thanks to family friend, Lucy Keane, plus many friends and neighbors for their care and concern, HospiceCare and the Middleton Fire Department for their support. Funeral Services will be held at ST. LUKES LUTHERAN CHURCH 7337 Hubbard Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2008, with the Reverend Terry Peterson presiding. Burial will be in Middleton Junction Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday February 24, 2008, at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton.
