Bernadine Kessenich

Kessenich, Bernadine SUN PRAIRIE Bernadine "Connie" Kessenich, age 84, passed away on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Willows Nursing home in Sun Prairie. Bernadine was born on Sept. 12, 1923, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Hogan) Krueger. She lived in Madison for more than 60 years and was a parish member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 53 years. Bernadine enjoyed both her grandkids, and her great-grandkids. Bernadine is survived by her daughters, Patricia Regel of Columbus and JoAnn (Mark) Halverson of Deerfield; six grandchildren, Michelle (Tom), Jeff (Deanna), Marly Jo, Sara (Stephen), Mark Jr., and Bradley; six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Kyle, Jacob, Jordan and Jenna; a brother, James Krueger; sister, Ruth Goetch; and two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Zeier and Audrey Hogan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; son, John; and step-brother, Dick Hogan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2008, at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at church. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
