Virginia Reynoldson

Reynoldson, Virginia L. MADISON - Virginia L. "Ginny" Reynoldson, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Oakwood Meadows Memory Care. She was born on Sept. 10, 1926, in Madison, the daughter of William and Grace (Putnam) Goff. She married John R. "Jack" Reynoldson on June 17, 1949, in Madison. Ginny graduated from Madison West High School and from St. Marys Nursing School. She worked at St. Marys Medical Center for a short time and later was a nurse at Lakewood School. Her first priority was taking care of her family and then helping others. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Attic Angel Assoc. Ginny enjoyed participating in the Meals on Wheels program. She was also a member of D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution). Ginny was an avid golfer and enjoyed many other outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, camping and skiing. She spent much time helping friends and neighbors. Ginny is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Reynoldson; son, John (Muni) Reynoldson Jr., and their children, Sara, Nicole and Garrett; daughter, Jill R. (Thomas) Fontaine, and their children, Diane and Michael; and sister, Sally Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Grace (Putnam) Goff; and a sister, Billie Jean Motis. A celebration of Ginnys life will be held at the OAKWOOD EAST CHAPEL, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at 10 a.m. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
