Audrey Whitcomb

Whitcomb, Audrey Phyllis MADISON - Audrey Phyllis Whitcomb, age 75, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at Karmenta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 21, 1932, in Fox Lake, the daughter of Benjamin and Golda (Schultz) Green. Audrey was united in marriage to Robert Whitcomb in 1957. She enjoyed growing and taking care of her vegetable garden. Audrey was a loving grandmother, who enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Julie (Michael) Perry; a son, Jim (Doreen) Whitcomb; four grandchildren, Megan and Kelsey Perry and Marsha and Mitchell Whitcomb; two brothers, Russell and Dennis Green; and a brother-in-law, Jerry (Charlene) Whitcomb. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2002; and a sister, Mary Abbeglan. A Memorial visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008. The family would like to thank the staff at Karmenta and HospiceCare for helping Audrey maintain her quality of life and the care given in her final days.
