James Everhart

Everhart, James D. "Timber" MADISON James D. "Timber" Everhart, age 84, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008. He was born on March 8, 1923, in Madison, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Geiger) Everhart. Timber worked at Lumbermans Supply for many years. He later worked as a security guard for American Family Insurance. Timber enjoyed conversations with his friends at the Willows Tavern, everyday if possible. He is survived by his two daughters, Dayle (Lenny) Bruheim of Madison and Lynn (Tim) Rounds of Waterloo; son-in-law, Terry Miller of Wisconsin Rapids; eight grandchildren, Tracy (Paul) Grosz, Lucas (Valerie) Bruheim, James (Tina) Miller, Carrie, Justin, and Erin Rounds, Kati (David) Zieroth, and Tanya (Tyler) Juergens; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Timber was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan (Payne) Everhart; a daughter, Teresa Miller; and six brothers, Harry Jr., Paul, Richard, Robert, George, and Charles. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. The family would like to thank HospiceCare, Home Health United, Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills and Polly Roeth, for all of their loving care.
