Lynn Gander

Gander, Lynn STOUGHTON - Lynn Gander, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008. He was born on Jan. 17, 1919, in Gays Mills, the son of David and Minnie (Henthorn) Gander. Lynn served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He worked at Dane County Hospital for more than 15 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 328. Lynn is survived by his children, Jon Gander, Gary (Betty) Gander, Rick Gander, Carol (Don) Flores, Terry (Karla) Gander, Kristi Rogers, and Tim (Becky) Gander; 19 grandchildren, Steve Gander, Shelley Green, Jodi (Bob) Hover, Ricky Gander, David Gander, Christi, Eric, Cody, Samantha, Laynee and Brooke Gander, Kari Mancillas, Kim Flores, Kayla Flores, Jeremy and Peter Gander, Kirsten Rogers, Ty Mall and Trent Gander; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ethra; and a sister, Alma Stromberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; three brothers, Fay, Dennis and Hubert; and five sisters, Bertha, Mabel, Naomi, LuLu and Della. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy. 51 North at Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, with his son, Tim Gander presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
