Betty Bronson

Bronson, Betty Jane OREGON Betty Jane Bronson, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at her home. She was born on Sept. 15, 1919, in Whitewater, the daughter of Irving J. and Ethyl (Beardsley) Bower. Betty was united in marriage to Harvey Bronson on Aug. 31, 1939, at her parents home. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and Eastern Star. Betty loved to golf. She was a devoted mother of six children and is survived by four, Ronald (Terri) Bronson of Delavan, Stephen of Oregon, Norman (Marsha) of Mukwonago and Nancy (Ted) Albright of Union, Ky.; daughter-in-law, Martha Bronson of West Bend; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; a son, Allan Bronson; a daughter, Beverly Bronson; and two brothers, James and David Bower. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, with the Rev. Bob Groth presiding. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be held at Round Prairie Burial Ground, Rural LaGrange, at 3 p.m. on Monday.
