Cora Bohn

Bohn Cora I. MADISON Cora I. Bohn, age 84, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at HospiceCare Inc. She was born on April 9, 1923, in Humphreys County, Miss., the daughter of Carl and Indianna (Stevenson) Ingram. Cora married Ervin Bohn on July 25, 1945, in Lauderdale County, Miss. She was born and raised on a farm in Mississippi, and after her marriage to Ervin, they raised their family on a farm near Montello. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mecan. After moving to Madison, she was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church. The love and acceptance she showed her family and friends lives on after her. She is survived by her children, Linda Bohn of Milwaukee, Janice Bohn of Madison, Joyce (Robert) Allen of Middleton, Diane (Michael) Gallagher of Sawtry, U.K., Terry (Eneas Caldino) Bohn of Mexico City, Mexico, and Douglas Bohn of Madison; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Bohn, Sarah Allen, Peter Allen, Rebecca Caldino Bohn, and Isabel Caldino Bohn; two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Maximilian Bohn; brothers and sisters, Grace Morgan of Birmingham, Ala., Alice (Marvin) Shepherd of Tarrant, Ala., Robert C. (Alene) Ingram of Louisville, Miss., Betty (John) Worrell of McCool, Miss., Phyllis Vaughan of Hoover, Ala., Lois (Louie) Fowler of Birmingham, Ala. and Wayne (Gloria) Ingram of McCool, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin, in July 1999; her parents; and a brother, Dewitt Ingram. Funeral services will be held in MOUNT OLIVE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4018 Mineral Point Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, with Pastor Steve Wenk officiating Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Mecan Cemetery in Montello, at 2:45 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Monday.
