Jane Conway

Conway, Jane P. MADISON Jane P. Conway, age 95, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008. She was born on Aug. 5, 1912, in Baraboo, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Ganz) Conway. Jane graduated from Madison East High School and UW-Madison. She served her country in the United States Marines during World War II. Jane worked for the Attorney Generals office, as an accountant. She enjoyed gardening, baking, knitting, traveling, bowling and volunteering at Karmenta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jane is survived by her sister, Marian Conway Brown; brother, Walter Conway; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Conway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008. Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
