Patricia Furey

Furey, Patricia COTTAGE GROVE Patricia Furey, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Thursday, Jan.17, 2008, at her home. She was 79 years old. Patricia was the youngest daughter of Lilly (Burns) Brick and Edward Brick of Askeaton, Wis. She married Richard Furey of Madison on Aug. 11, 1952. Patricia worked at Crandalls Restaurant in Madison for 27 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends and family, and gambling. Patricia was proud of her Irish heritage. She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Kautzer of Boulder, Colo.; two brothers-in-law, Tom Furey and Leo Furey of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews on both the Furey and Brick families. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Furey; and brothers, James and John Brick. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
