Angell, Jeanette H. STOUGHTON Jeanette Helen Angell, age 84, died on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Harbor House in Madison. She died of complications of a broken hip. Jeanette was born in Cottage Grove on Feb. 21, 1923, to Fred and Hazel (Harroun) Volker. She attended Cottage Grove Grade School and graduated from Madison East High School. Jeanette was married to Kenneth James Angell on Dec. 16, 1942, in Mississippi. She lived in Madison with her husband and three children. After her husbands death, she moved to Stoughton to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Jeanette was employed until retirement by National Guardian Life Insurance Company. She was an avid gardener and taking care of her home and landscaping her yard was one of her joys in life. Jeanette loved to knit, crochet and sew. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Madison. Jeanette is survived by two sons and a daughter, Thomas Angell of Stoughton, Kenneth Angell of Milton and Sherry Angell of California; five grandchildren, Sandra, Stacy, Sarah, Ryan, and Lindsay; four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Kristin, Samuel and Molly Anne; a brother, Frederick Volker; and a sister, Avis Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; a sister, Muriel Mowrey; and a brother, Bruce Volker. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008.
