Obituary

Andrewjeski, Linda L. MADISON Linda L. Andrewjeski, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, after a courageous battle with bone cancer. She was born on May 25, 1942, in Madison, the daughter of Louis and Lillian (Huerth) Andrewjeski. Linda resided at Orchard Hill for the handicapped for many years before moving to a Lutheran Social Services group home. She loved garage sales, collecting rings and metal items, arts and crafts, horses, traveling, and having stories read to her. Linda had an extraordinary talent of drawing pictures, especially horses and dogs, and enjoyed sharing her drawings with family and friends. She worked at Madison Opportunity Center and Valley Packaging. Linda also operated her own successful jewelry business, "Lindas Treasure Chest," traveling to fairs and flea markets, which was a county pilot program. She is survived by two sisters, Leona (Joseph) Rane of Madison and Louise (Gerald) Meixelsperger of Spring Green; nieces and nephews, June (Dave) Roush, Tom (Julie) Meixelsperger, Kim (Steve) Hovland, Jamie (Melissa) Rane and Ranee (Thomas) Sarbacker; and many great-nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1905 W. Beltline Highway, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, with Monsignor Tom Baxter presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Thank you to all the staff and friends at Lutheran Social Services and Avenues to Community for your loving care and support over the years. Special thanks to everyone at the UW Oncology Clinic, for their care and compassion. Also, to the staff and volunteers at HospiceCare, for giving her dignity and respect in her final days. You are all "Angels from Heaven" and greatly appreciated.
