Lura Krouscup

Krouscup, Lura MIDDLETON Lura Krouscup, age 89, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Middleton Village. She was born in Waupun, to Martin and Eva McDowell, the youngest of four children. Lura graduated from UW-Madison in 1940, with degrees in education and classical studies (Latin and Greek). From there, she taught school and helped run a successful electrical business. She enjoyed playing bridge and Scrabble, and was an avid reader. Lura is survived by her son, Jack Krouscup; daughter, Jessica Wilde; and grandchildren, Melissa Stapleton and Eric Off. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at 10 a.m., at the HOSPICECARE CENTER, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison.
